However after looking at all of the pros and cons of actually living in a beach front condo it just wasn t worth it to us. First floor apartments may be easier to break into since the windows are at street level.

Here on the 1st floor life is easier despite the noise. I realize i m in the minority but i come and go a lot so i think that has a lot to do with wanting to be on the first floor.
